On September 9, 2025, at the Research Laboratory Complex (RLC) Hall, Can Tho University, within the framework of the Scientific Workshop titled “National Digital Twin – A Technological Breakthrough for Smart Agriculture in the Mekong Delta,” jointly organized by Can Tho University and CT Group, the Mekong Institute was honored to represent Can Tho University in signing a Cooperation Agreement on Carbon Credit Development for the Mekong Delta with CCTPA – CT Group.
This event holds strategic significance, marking an important milestone in the formation and development of the Mekong Institute. The agreement not only affirms the Institute’s role in connecting key stakeholders, but also demonstrates Can Tho University’s pioneering commitment to applied research and technology transfer in the field of carbon credits for the region’s key agricultural production systems.
Through this cooperation, the Mekong Institute aims to promote the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in agriculture, opening up new development pathways and contributing to the realization of a green, smart, inclusive, and sustainable Mekong Delta.
