On February 10, 2026, at the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau Province, the Mekong Institute held a working session to explore cooperation opportunities in green transformation, green growth, circular economy, and digital transformation. As Ca Mau advances its sustainable development agenda and climate adaptation efforts, both sides recognized strong potential to connect research capacity and expert networks with the province’s practical needs.

The meeting also highlighted opportunities to co-organize scientific forums and conferences, develop digital databases, apply IoT and AI in production management, and access funding related to emission reduction and water resource governance. Through this initial exchange, both parties expressed interest in further identifying suitable areas of collaboration to support innovation and green transformation in Ca Mau.
